  •  The upper Ayeyarwady River boasts the most stunning landscape over its whole course of 2,100 kilometers. This stream runs entirely within Myanmar and is supplied only by the melting waters of the Burma Himalayas. The northern section is particularly impressive, with three magnificent 'defiles'. The second is genuinely stunning, with the river cutting through steep limestone cliffs that restrict the river's width to only 90 meters. Mandalay - Katha - Mandalay is considered a wonderful route for capturing landscape blending with the authentic local lifestyle.
  •   This 7-night "back-to-back" cruise named "Impressive Gorges" is a well-balanced voyage along the northern regions of the upper Ayeyarwady, passing through the third defile on the way to the phenomenal second defile, while enjoying brilliant scenery, captivating local daily life, and a bit of the country's colonial heritage.
  •   Don't hesitate to contact Myanmar Private Tour for further information about this appealing Myanmar Tour, or check out other cruises along the Ayeyarwady River.
