Welcome aboard on the Belmond Road to Mandalay! We are here to make your Myanmar tour unique, with land excursions and authentic activities that offer a fascinating peek into Myanmar's culture.
For many years, Bagan has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in Myanmar, ranking alongside Angkor Wat in Cambodia and Borobudur in Java as the best historic monuments in Southeast Asia. Around 3,000 temples dot the plain of the Ayeyarwady River, the majority of them were constructed between the 11th and 13th centuries. On the other hand, Mandalay, located on the Irrawaddy River, is the heart of mainland Myanmar and the focal point of regional communications, trade, and transportation lines.
What is better than a voyage between these two main tourist attractions on a cruise of 7 Night Bagan - Mandalay? You will have the chance to see the breathtaking beauty and discovery of the mysterious rivers of Myanmar. Explore the Bagan temple plain, the lacquerware traditional workshop with friendly locals and Popa mountain. Visit temples, pagodas, palaces and monasteries along the Irrawaddy River, visit the colonial buildings in Pyin Oo Lwin and so much more is waiting for you!
