At 8:00 AM, our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Old Bagan's crowded Nyaung U Market and a nearby village to see people's lives in the morning.
Explore the nearby Shwezigon Pagoda, which is beautiful and has gold leaf on it, and also learn about Burmese Buddhist customs.
Continue to the Htilominlo Temple, which is 46 meters tall, has three stories, and is made of red brick. It's also known for the comprehensive plaster moldings that decorate it. Four Buddhas, one facing each direction, are on the first floor of the temple.
Then you go to Ananda Temple. On the way, you stop on the Bagan plains to look at some of the temples nearby. The layout of the temple is in the shape of a cross, with several terraces leading up to a small pagoda at the top that is covered by an umbrella called hti. This is the name of the umbrella or top ornaments that is on almost every pagoda in Myanmar.
At the end of the day, we go to the Shwesandaw Pagoda, which is the second tallest pagoda in Bagan. The pagoda is made up of five terraces and a cylinder-shaped stupa with a jeweled umbrella on top.
In the afternoon, you'll be taken back to your hotel.

Visit the Sulamani Temple nearby Minnathu Village at 8.30 a.m.; constructed in the 12th century, this temple design is highly complex, with elaborative carving and beautiful murals.
Visit other notable temples in Bagan, such as Dhammayangyi Temple, which is the biggest of all the temples in Bagan. The Dhammayan, as it is widely called, was built during the reign of King Narathu.
Visit the lacquerware store in Myinkabar village to experience the creativity and method of manufacturing these delicate items.
If time permits, you may visit several notable sites in the area, such as: Gubyaukgyi Temple and observe the excellent stuccowork, Nanpaya Temple - Mon style special with elaborate stone carvings, Manuha Pagoda with the big Buddha statues, and Stupa with Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone". After breakfast, at 08.30AM you'll depart from Taung Kalat, a Buddhist monastery located atop Mount Popa, an extinct volcano that is 1518 meters high. Mount Popa has always played a significant part in Myanmar culture, religion, and history. Its shrine is devoted to the worship of the 37 Nats, the ancient animist spirits of Myanmar. While climbing the stairs to the peak with your local guide, you may learn about nats and nat worship. The view from the top of the volcanic mountain across the Myingyan Plain is breathtaking.
After that, we'll travel back to Bagan, a one-hour ride in which we'll stop at a nearby town where the fruit of the palm tree is used to produce wine and molasses. Take a look at the remarkable manufacturing process.
