Full Itinerary

Day 1

Yangon Arrival

Meals: N/A

Activities: Yangon arrival, discover the city, visit Sule Zedi, Chaukhtatgy Temple, and take a boat to visit Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake.

Arrive in Yangon city, welcome on arrival, and transfer to hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards.

After that, we will discover the former capital city of Yangon by car through colonial-style buildings, Little India, and Chinatown. Then we will pay a visit to Sule Pagoda, located in the center of Yangon. Continue the trip to Chaukhtatgyi pagoda, which is famous for the Reclining Buddha image.

Finally, take a boat to cruise on the Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake to enjoy the tranquil beauty of the landscapes surrounding and capture some fantastic images.

Day 2

Yangon city tour (B)

Activities: Visit Shwedagon Pagoda, take photos in colonial streets, and discover China Town and Indian habitat.

When you come to Yangon, Shwedagon Pagoda is the place that you shouldn’t miss on your trip. Here, you will immerse in the shimmering landscape of the pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara Hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha. Now, it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architectures in the world as well as the pride of Myanmar.

Additionally, you will have a chance to capture some amazing pictures in colonial streets, because Yangon is known as a historic city with colonial buildings such as City Hall, Emmanuel Church, Inland Water, and the famous Strand Hotel.

Day 3

Yangon flight to Bagan (B)

Activities: Fly to Bagan, and visit Shwezigon, Ananda, and Htilomino pagodas.

Start a new day by the flight to Bagan, the home of thousands of temples. Visiting Bagan, you will have a chance to admire the unique architecture of religious pagodas in Myanmar. The first destination is the Shwezigon pagoda, the holiest pagoda in Bagan, known as a center of prayers and commenced by King Anawrahta during the 11th century.

Continue the trip to Annada Temple, a well-preserved masterpiece known as the “Westminster Abbey of Burma”. The temple is one of the finest and most venerated religious sites in Bagan. Palomino pagoda is also the sacred one in Bagan that you shouldn’t miss and have some memorable pictures.

Day 4

Activities: Watch the sunrise from the balloon over Bagan plains, visit the lacquerware factory and Nyaung U market.

Enjoy a wonderful morning with the beautiful sunrise on the balloon over the Bagan plains. Looking down from above, you will see the ancient temples; small villages running along the romantic Irrawaddy River that have contributed to making Bagan a picturesque city. That is certainly a memorable experience on your trip.

During the rest of the day, we will pay a visit to the local lacquerware factory to learn more about the traditional handicrafts handed down from different generations; and visit the Nyaung U market, a typical market that has remained in Myanmar for centuries. Day 5

Bagan – Heho – Inle lake (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Heho, take a boat to explore Inle Lake, and visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung, the local market, and the village.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the domestic flight to Heho, and then we will transfer to Inle Lake. It is known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, however, it is considered the most beautiful place in the land of golden pagodas.

Take a boat to get an overview of Inle Lake. Here you will be attracted by the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables; floating villages, floating markets, and several traditional villages such as forging, and weaving; and have authentic insights into the daily life of locals.

Continue the trip to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. There are many pagodas around the lake; however, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda is the most grandiose and monumental one. It is known as the symbol of five small golden Buddha images. Then we will pay a visit to Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, made of wood, and with a floating trip on the lake. You will feel interested in the impressive golden Buddha images as well as the jumping cat trained by monks.

Day 6

Balloon ride over Inle Lake – Indein (B)

Activities: Balloon over Inle Lake, visit Indein temples, and watch the sunset.

Experience the exciting moments on the balloon over Inle Lake to contemplate the fantastic beauty of the landscapes surrounding the region. You will have a chance to see the stilted houses, bird sanctuary, and the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the others are standing on the boat for fishing by hand with their traditional tools.

For the rest of the day, we will visit Indein Pagoda Complex, located on the West of Inle Lake by boat. Here you will be amazed by the ancient stupas, which is dated back to the 16th-17th centuries. Particularly, you will have a chance to admire the beautiful sunset from pagoda hill.
