You will be picked up at your hotel to discover the city by the guide and the driver.
Then we go downtown and see the colonial constructions in the historic old capital. You will know more about the architecture and theirs using purpose through the tour guide’s explanations.
Afterwards, we can troll around Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scotts Market) in the heart of the city which is the most well known market and attracts a number of tourists in Yangon. Colonial buildings seem the treasures of the city.
Next is the impressive Shwedagon Pagoda. It is a golden pagoda located on the top of Singuttara hill surrounded by shining scenery. People believe that the pagoda kept the Buddha’s hair relics 2500 years ago. Nowadays, the pagoda is one of the most breathtaking religious constructions in the world and brings pride to Myanmar.
Then, return to your hotel in Yangon to take a break.

On the second morning, you will take a flight to Nyaung U (Bagan) after being transferred to Yangon airport.
Arriving in Bagan, you will be picked up at the bus station for the beginning of the trip to the lively Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan.
Then, head to gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and experience Burmese Buddhist customs.
After that, you take a walk to Ananda Temple, stop on the way to Bagan field for the view of the temples around. With the cruciform, the temple has many terraces heading to a little pagoda shrouded by a hti (refer as an umbrella or top ornament) at the top and that is typical for majority pagodas in Myanmar.
Next is Bagan-Manuha Temple. According to King Manuha’s inscriptions, the temple was constructed in 1067 by captive Mon King Manuha. It is a rectangular 2 storey building with three images of seated Buddhas and an image of Buddha entering Nirvana. Manuha Temple is one of the earliest temples in Bagan.
At the end of the day, we will explore Shwesandaw Pagoda which is the second highest in Bagan. The pagoda includes an array of five terraces, capped with a cylindrical stupa having a bejeweled umbrella.
Then come back to your hotel.

At 8:00 am, after pickup at your hotel, you will be transferred to start the journey. Some attractions we will visit today are the monuments, temples such as Dhammayangyi Temple built in the dynasty of King Narathu and the biggest temple in Bagan.
The next stop is Htilominlo Temple with three storey heights over 46 meters with red brick. It is also famous for the elaborate plaster moldings. Four Buddhas facing different directions are located on the first floor.
You can opt for a horse cart ride through the temples: 10 USD/cart (max 2 people).
Now, you can explore the Minnanthu village near central Bagan where you get an opportunity to get acquainted with kind and sociable people living in the traditional houses. They are typical in Myanmar countryside with an outdoor zone to gather, work and sleep.
You will remember all the interesting images of peaceful places where men and women work hard and have fun.
If you have enough time, visit the monuments constructed in later time such as Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya, Tayokepyay Temple and Payathonzu Temple.

You travel to Mandalay on a plane after being picked up in the morning.
On the way, enjoy the splendid scenery of the area from Mandalay Hill before entering Mandalay Palace, which is the last palace of the last Burmese monarchy.
Now head to the Mahamuni Pagoda, where the most honored Buddha is fully covered with gold leaves applied by the male devotees everyday. Continually the Kuthodaw Pagoda with the selection of 729 marble slabs inscribed with Buddhist teachings and it is known as “The World's Biggest Book”.
Now go to the only abiding structure from the Royal Palace in the 19th century, the Golden Monastery in Shwenandaw Monastery. The remarkable form is admired by its incredible woodcarvings.
Lastly, come to Amarapura meaning “City of Immortality” - old capital. You can experience the silk weaving shops and walk to the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world - U Bein Bridge. It is 1.2 km long passing Taungthaman lake and built in the end of 18th century. Admire the sun cats long shadows and shine on the bridge in the late afternoon. Finish an interesting day and return to Mandalay.

At 8:00 am, we will travel by car to Mandalay Jetty to get on the boat for a voyage to Mingun where many monasteries, meditation centers, monuments and Buddhist temples are located. First, we explore Mingun Bell, the biggest building bell in the world. You will be attracted by the Mingun Paya, a big rock in Mandalay famous for the huge and uncompleted stupa.
Keep discovering the Hisnbyume Pagoda situated in the Northern part of Mingun town a few hundred meters from the tremendous Mingun Pagoda. On the way, you can get the chance to talk with kind local people around the area.
