"This resort Is marvellous, there Is a huge garden and a beatiful pool. But the most amazing thing Is the staff. They treat us really in a special way, they prepared for us a cake and a lot of attentions for our honey moon. We felt like home :) We hope to be able to come back soon!"

"This relaxing special resort is situated on the lake. We arrived by boat to be greeted by a sweet smiling staff. As we pulled up the manager, Kai Hoffmann, welcomed us and our local guide so warmly. We immediately felt relaxed and at home. Our beautifully decorated room over looked the lake. our room had a large comfortable bathroom with plenty of hot water and all the amenities. The beds very comfortable. We were invited over to the bar to watch the sunset at 5:30. Pm. We trotted over To find many of the guests there enjoying a bonfire and a drink. It was great! Beautiful sunset! After sunset we had a very nice dinner in a large and pleasant dining room. In the morning, breakfast had everything we could desire and lots of staff helping. We stayed two nights. Loved it. It was easy to get around to all the sights by boat. Had great massages in the spa. Based on our pleasant stay here we would not hesitate to stay at another Amata. This was such a nice experience."

"This hotel has very friendly staff, nice and cozy rooms, really tasty breakfast and cuisine. They have an organic farm - I guess they serve the food from it. There’s also a gorgeous view on the lake from the pool area. Thank you for hosting us, guys!"

"I stayed two nights here and couldn’t fault it. A beautiful location, good service and nice food. I had a beautiful modern large room and the view of sunset from my room was lovely. The interior decoration is lovely! I could have stolen many a lovely piece, JOKING. I was fortunate to meet the decorator as they were doing a suite beside my room. The birds in the vegetable garden are pretty as well."

"A beautiful hotel at the shores of Inle Lake. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in organising our trips by boat to Inthein and by car to Kakku and to the 5-day-market. The terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy a beer with the delicious peanuts while watching the sunset. Breakfast with a wide choice of asian ad western food. Dinner also very good. We enjoyed our stay very much!"

"We were upgraded to the villa at check-in. I'd definitely recommend staying in one of the villas - they're spacious and very well-appointed with modern fittings and furnishing, large bathroom, very comfortable bedding and enough sockets to charge all your devices. Service was exceptional. The front desk was super helpful in making all our taxi and restaurant bookings - Cherry, in particular, was very efficient and offered good recommendations. The restaurant staff was also fantastic - even though the buffet breakfast ends at 9am (which is really early, especially for travelers like me who like to sleep in), the servers were more than happy to prepare special orders outside of buffet hours and even dishes that were not available on the buffet line if you wanted :). Oliver at the restaurant was just the best. He even remembers exactly how you like your coffee! The resort is a little away from Nyaungshwe town but it didn't bother us too much - taxis are easily available and the hotel also has its own jetty if you prefer to take the boat to town instead. If you’re looking for a quiet boutique-style resort – not your typical mainstream hotel chain – This. Is. It! It is comparable to any 4- or 5-star hotel chain in terms of décor, settings and service levels in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again and would also not hesitate to stay in other Amata resorts in Myanmar."
