Day 1

Yangon Arrival

The itinerary starts from Yangon – the biggest city in Myanmar to explore the busy streets and see the old colonial buildings. Strolling the old harbor district where takes place bustling commercial activities for the exchange of commodities of merchants.

In the evening, you will immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara hill. It is said that this pagoda dated back to 2500 years ago and stored the hair relics of the Buddha and become one of the most spectacular religious architecture in the world as well as a proud of Myanmar.

Day 2

Yangon – Inle Lake (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Heho Airport, and sail on Inle Lake to contemplate the landscapes surrounding.

Airplane landing at the Heho airport and then we will transfer you to Inle lake by car. Take a boat to contemplate the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables as well as explore the daily life of locals.

Here you will be attracted by the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the other stands on the boat to fix and catch fish by hand with their traditional tools.

Day 3

Inle Lake – Indein (B)

Activities: Go onboard to Indein Village and contemplate ancient stupas. See the daily life of locals.

The morning brings with it the sunshine as you are met up and taken to Indein Village – one of the small villages located on the West of Inle Lake. Reach it easily by boat that is popular to move by waterway.

Surely, you will be amazed by the ancient stupas, which is dated back to the 16th century. Day 4

Inle Lake – Kengtung (B)

Activities: Fly to Kengtung, take a guided walk around town, and meet the Palaung people in Nyaung Tong Lake.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before we transfer back to Heho airport and have a flight to Kengtung, which is known by another name “walled City of Tung”. Here you will have a chance to explore a large variety of authentic tribes with different customs. Walking around town by taking a guide and continuing the trip to Nyaung Tong Lake to meet the Palaung people and see the unique clothes of women. Kengtung seems to be outstanding in typical customs, religion, history, and language.

Day 5

Kengtung (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Trekking, visiting Anh tribal villages, and Akha villages, and trying the local homemade rice wine.

Enjoy a nice breakfast before we transfer to Pin Tauk. Trekking to discover the landscapes of the countryside and going through Anh tribal villages to get to Akha villages, located on the high mountains of Myanmar. Here you will feel interested when seeing the images of women with unique brocade hats. These hats are decorated with coins, silver, and embroidery, the featured trait of their tribe. Their life is very simple; they live by cultivating rice, sewing, and breeding.

Having a picnic lunch near the waterfall and relaxing by soaking your feet in the pools. Additionally, you will have a chance to try the local homemade rice wine to cure your sore feet. Surely you will feel relaxed after the whole day of exploring.

Day 6

Kengtung – Mandalay (B)

A long time ago, it was the imperial city of the last dynasty in Burma, located under Mandalay Hill. The reconstructed palace is the prominent point of its. Here you will explore the history of the ancient city, which has played an important role in the past.

Day 7

Mandalay – Amarapura (B)

Activities: Drive to Amarapura, visit U Bein Bridge, and Mahamuni Pagoda, see the largest book in the world at Kuthodaw Pagoda, visit the gold leaf workshop and watch the sunset.

The morning starts with the trip to Amarapura, which used to be the capital city of Myanmar and was built several times after the fire and earthquake. In addition, it is famous for Maha Gandhayon Kyaung monastery and U Bein Bridge. Strolling on the bridge with locals you will be surprised by its length, (known as the longest teak wood bridge in the world) as well as hundreds of young monks seeking alms.

Then continue the trip back to Mandalay in order to see the Mahamuni Pagoda. After that, we will visit Kuthodaw Pagoda to contemplate the World's Largest Book, which included 729 Marble Stone Slabs of Buddhist Scriptures and each stone slab is held on the small shrine.

Day 8

Mandalay – Monywa (B)

Activities: Drive to Monywa, visit stupas and monasteries in Sagaing and contemplate the sunset

After having breakfast, leave Mandalay to Monywa to explore typical landscapes. Monywa is located 136 km northwest of Mandalay. It takes about four hours to reach Monywa by road. Stop at Sagaing, which used to be the capital city of Myanmar. During the trip, you will have a chance to see stupas and monasteries, spread in the surrounding hills. From the Irrawaddy River, you will have a panoramic view of the main monastery.

Then we will depart to Thanboddhay Pagoda, dating back to the 14th century, and Bodditatuang Pagoda, which has thousands of Buddhist images. In the afternoon, you will have a chance to witness artisans weave cotton blankets and make lacquerware. Admire the sunset on the top of a pagoda for relaxing.

Monywa – Bagan (B)

Activities: Take a boat to visit the cave temple of Pow Win Taung, sailing on the Irrawaddy River to Bagan.

Take a boat and cross the Chindwin River to the cave temple of Pow Win Taung, you will be attracted by the impressive range of giant Buddha statues and religious paintings on the walls. Come into the Shwe Ba Taung complex, a short distance from Pow Win Taung, and you will immerse in the colorful motifs on the narrow cliffs that made you seem to be lost in the fairyland. Arrive in Bagan by boat on the Irrawaddy River in the afternoon.

Day 10

Bagan cycling (B)

Activities: Cycling to visit hundreds of temples of Bagan and contemplate the sunset over Bagan plain.

Start the trip by cycling around the hundreds of temples in Bagan. There are more than 10,000 temples and religious structures, dating back 250 years ago since Bagan was the capital city of the Pagan Empire. These ancient temples have contributed to making Bagan become a magical and picturesque region.

Biking at a slow speed, you easily enjoy the fantastic landscapes surrounding you and contemplate the unique architecture of these temples. Stop on the way to see Ananda Temple and Shwezigon Pagoda which are known as the most famous ones in Bagan. Day 11

Bagan - Mt Popa – Yangon (B)

Drive from Bagan to Popa Mountain in the morning. Mt Popa is 50 km far from Bagan. Climb 777 steps to reach the top of the mountain and visit the temple there. Here you will learn more about the mysterious story of Mt Popa and its 37 Nats. Take shoes, and socks off before climbing step by step. Watch different birds and botany covering the flank, which creates dense vegetation on the Bagan plains. Fly to Yangon in the afternoon.
