Early in the morning, before dawn, go to one of the most secret corner pagodas to take pictures of the sunrise. This is undoubtedly an expensive pleasure. But Bagan, together with Angkor in Cambodia and Borobodur in Indonesia, is one of the world's seven wonders. And Bagan is huge, covering almost 70 square kilometers. If the weather is good, there is no better way to take photos of its mind-boggling size or capture its dreamlike atmosphere than to return back to your hotel for breakfast.

Your private guide will show you around the local village so you can take pictures of the village, and if needed, a few photo sessions will be set up so you can take pictures of a lacquerware maker or designer at a factory in the village. Then, from the ground, take silhouette photographs of the Bagan Temples cluster.

The next stop is the Shwezigon pagoda, a 1,000-year-old Buddhist stupa whose golden bell-shaped dome served as a model for pagodas across Burma (where there is a terrific opportunity for shooting at a long colonnade with concrete pillars with shadows). Take pictures inside a Buddhist temple with people from the region.

After lunch, take a little rest at your hotel to refresh and unwind before heading out for afternoon sightseeing.

The afternoon begins with going around at the Sularmuni Temple and photographing farm animals returning in groups on the dusty road near the Temple, followed by sunset images from Pyathatgyi Temple.
