Day 1

Yangon Arrival

Greetings from Myanmar! You will be taken from Yangon International Airport to the hotel in the heart of the city to check in. You're on your own for meals. Spend the night at the hotel.

Day 2

Yangon – Fly To Bagan – Sightseeing (B)

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast at the hotel, transport to the airport for your flight to Bagan, where our tour guide and driver will meet you and take you on an exploration of Bagan. Begin your tour to the Shwezigon Pagoda to discover Burmese Buddhist traditions.

Ananda temple, Gubyaukgyi temple, and Thatbyinnyu temple will not be missed on our trip to Bagan. In addition, we visit Myinkaba village to deeply understand Myanmar's distinctive lacquer-ware handcraft.

In the late afternoon, pay a visit to Bagan's Shwesandaw Pagoda, an elevated structure with a fascinating inside.

Day 3

Bagan Exploring (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Optional: Hot air balloon rides above Bagan (offered only from October/November to March). It is advised that you get up early to attend the hot-air balloon launch, which provides a wonderful experience of observing the Irrawaddy River and the stupas in the area from above.

After breakfast, we explore some of Bagan's most renowned structures, including the biggest temple of Dhammayangyi and the exquisite Htilominlo temple made of red brick.

Following that, you will arrive to Minnanthu village, where the kind locals live in their traditional country houses with an outside living space for sitting, entertaining, working, and sleeping. Some monuments in the village include Tayokepyay Temple, Laymyatnar Temple, Nandaminnya Temple, and Payathonzu Temple.

Stay in Bagan for the night.

Day 4

Bagan – Fly To Yangon - City Tour (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Transfer to the airport for your trip to Yangon after breakfast. When you arrive in the city center, pay a visit to the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda.

Continue your journey to the downtown area to view the colonial architecture of this ancient former capital city. The tour guide will specifically discuss the history of each building and what it was utilized for.

Continue walking to learn about Burmese culture at Little India and China Town. You are free to capture some fantastic shots of a nearby temple with hundreds of paintings representing legendary scenes while traveling to China Town (or 19th Street).

Following that, we go around the Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market), which is situated in the center of the city. The Bogyoke Aung San Market is Yangon's most popular market and a famous tourist attraction. It is one of the city's most valuable colonial structures.

We complete the day by visiting the golden Shwedagon Temple, Myanmar's most spiritual pagoda.

Day 5

Day 5: Yangon Departure (B)
