Day 1

Yangon arrival (D)

Activities: Yangon arrival, visit old Colonial-style city center, Sule, Chaukhtatgyi Pagodas, Bogyoke Market, taste Burmese cuisine on offer.

Arrive in Yangon, welcome on arrival, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards.

Discover the old colonial-style city center of Yangon. Visit Sule Pagoda, an ancient pagoda than Shwedagon Pagoda, located in the center of Yangon and Chaukhtatgyi pagoda, which is famous for its Reclining Buddha image.

Continue the trip to explore China Town and Scott Market or Bogyoke Market - the largest precious stone market in Yangon. At the market, you will immerse in the shimmering of precious stones as well as the handicraft and jewelry shops. That is certainly a fascinating destination to go shopping and discover the bustling life.

Day 2

Yangon – Bagan (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Bagan, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Ananda Temple, and Thatbyinnyu Temple, and watch the sunset.

Start the trip by the flight to Bagan. After check-in hotel, we will explore Bagan, the home of thousands of ancient temples. The first destination is Shwezigon Pagoda, the holiest pagoda in Bagan, known as a center of prayer and commenced by King Anawrahta during the 11th century. Then we will pay a visit to Gubyaukgyi Temple (Wetkyiinn village). Here, the impressive painting in the temple will appeal to your sight.

Continue the trip by exploring Ananda Temple, a well-preserved masterpiece known as the “Westminster Abbey of Burma”, the temple is one of the finest and most venerated religious sites in Bagan. Colonize the tour with a visit to the tallest temple in Bagan-Thatbinnyu Temple, its name from the omniscience of Buddha.

The temple is famous for magnificent architecture from the 11th century. At the end of the day, you will have a chance to enjoy the magical sunset on a small hill.

Day 3

Bagan Sightseeing (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Visit Nyaung Oo market, Kyansittha Umin, Manuha, Nanbaya, Dhamanyangyi Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple, lacquer ware factory, and local village, and watch the sunset on the boat.

We will first visit Nyang Oo Market, a typical market that remained in Myanmar for centuries. Here you will be attracted by diverse vegetables and fruits as well as the unique images of locals with the basket on their heads.

Then we will pay a visit to some ancient temples, dated back in12th century, constructed by King Narathu such as Kyansittha Umin, Nanbaya, and Dhamanyangyi Temple. Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple certainly should not miss your trip. These impressive paintings in the temple will attract your sight.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to visit a local lacquerware workshop following a visit to the local village and have an insightful understanding of the lacquer painting technique.

The highlight of today is contemplating the breathtaking sunset beauty while cruising on the Irrawaddy River and exploring the local life.

Day 4

Bagan – Mandalay (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Fly to Mandalay, drive to Amarapura, visit Mahagandayon Monastery, old U Bein Teak Bridge, Atumashi Monastery, Shwenandaw Monastery, Mahamuni Pagoda, and Kuthodaw Pagoda, and watch the sunset.

A short flight from Bagan will take you to Mandalay, the 2nd largest city in Myanmar, and then continue the trip to Amarapura- the “city of immortality” by car to visit Mahagandaryone Monastery. It is one of Amarapura’s main sights with more than 3000 monks living and studying here. Enjoy a walk over U Bein Wooden Bridge - a beautiful 1.2-kilometer structure built from teak planks and said to be the longest of its type in the world.

You also shouldn’t miss some stunning monasteries during your stay in Myanmar such as Shwenandaw Monastery- which is famous for Buddhist carvings and contemplate the majestic beauty of Atumashi Monastery.

In the afternoon, we will continue the visit to the Kuthodaw pagoda and you will have a chance to contemplate the World's Largest Book, which included 729 Marble Stone Slabs of Buddhist Scriptures and each stone slab held on the small shrine. At the end of the tour, let’s stop at Mandalay Hill in order to watch the beautiful sunset. Surely, you will have a compelling moment to relax and see the whole of the city.

Mandalay – Yangon – Departure (B)

Activities: Fly back to Yangon, visit Shwedagon Pagoda, and depart.

Enjoy the nice breakfast before transferring to the airport for the flight back to Yangon.
