Day 1

Mandalay Arrival – Sagaing – Amarapura (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Mandalay arrival, depart to Sagaing Hill and visit Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda, sightseeing in Mandalay, visit Mahagandaryone Monastery, U Bein Wooden Bridge, Mahamuni pagoda.

Arrive at Mandalay International Airport, welcome on arrival, and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards.

After taking a short rest, we will depart to Sagaing Hill, the center of religious and important monasteries. Coming to Sagaing, you will have a chance to visit Budda Cave, U Min Thonze Pagoda, and Soon Oo Ponya Shin Pagoda. Surely, the spectacular religious architecture, as well as the impressive painting and Sculptures of Buddha, will attract your sight. After that, let’s relax and enjoy the fantastic landscapes of Mandalay.

Continue the trip to Amarapura, which used to be the capital city of Myanmar, and will pay a visit to Mahagandaryone Monastery. Day 2

Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Visit monks in Mandalay, take a boat to Mingun to visit Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and watch the sunset on Mandalay Hill.

Visiting Mandalay, which is famous for stupas, monks, and monasteries, you will have an insightful understanding of the life of monks. Then we will take a boat to visit Mingun, which is famous for its massive unfinished Pahtodawgyi pagoda, built at the end of the 18th century, and the Mingun bell- the largest bell in the world.

In the afternoon, we will visit Mandalay Place; its architecture has a harmonious, balanced, and sober beauty. It was rebuilt due to the damage of the 2nd World War and is surrounded by a moat. Its imposing buildings do not produce the usual coldness and impression of overwhelming power for the common people.

You also shouldn’t miss some stunning monasteries during your stay in Myanmar such as Shwenandaw Monastery- which is famous for Buddhist carvings; gold leaf beating workshop and continue the trip to the Kuthodaw Pagoda in order to contemplate the World's Largest Book. Finally, let’s relax by watching the breathtaking sunset beauty from Mandalay hill, where you also have a panoramic view of the city.

Day 3

Mandalay - Fly to Bagan – Sightseeing (B)

Meals: Breakfast

Activities: Depart to Bagan, visit Shwezigon Pagoda, Ananda, and Sulamani Temples, take a horse cart to visit Nan Paya Pagoda and sightsee others nearby, and watch the sunset.

Start a wonderful day of the trip to Bagan, known as a mysterious land of over 2000 ancient temples where no visitor can ignore to discover the Burmese’s history and the development of Buddhism.

On the way, we will pay a visit to Shwezigon Pagoda, the holiest pagoda in Bagan. The pagoda used to be the center of prayers and was commenced by King Anawrahta during the 11th century.

Continue the trip with an exploration at Ananda Temple, a well-preserved architectural masterpiece known as the “Westminster Abbey of Burma”. The temple is one of the finest and most venerated religious sites in Bagan. Sulamani Temple also is the site you shouldn’t miss on your trip.

In the afternoon, colonize your Bagan experience with a visit by horse cart to Nan Paya Pagoda - one of four Bagan monuments built of sandstones and other wonderful sightseeing nearby. One of the best highlights in Bagan is the magical sunset on the top of the ShweSandaw Pagoda.

Day 4

Bagan – Mt Popa (B)

Activities: Drives to Mt Popa, visit traditional palm workshop, take a boat to watch the sunset on Ayeyawaddy River, enjoy Burmese dinner and a traditional puppet show.

One of the many highlights when visiting Myanmar is exploring Mt Popa - an extinct volcano and watching different birds and botany covering the flank which creates dense vegetation on the Bagan plains. On arrival, we will pay a visit to a traditional craft village that is famous for unique products from the toddy palms trees.

Following lunch, we will transfer back to Bagan and take a boat trip to contemplate the beautiful sunset on the Ayeyarwady River.

In the evening, let's taste the Burmese meal and enjoy a traditional puppet show. That is certainly the most memorable experience on your trip.

Day 5

Bagan - Fly to Heho - Inle Lake sightseeing (B)

Activities: Fly to Heho; take a boat to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, Nam Pan village, and traditional crafts.

Enjoy a nice breakfast to start a wonderful day by the flight to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. Take a boat to cruise on Inle Lake to discover its natural beauty. Inle Lake is known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, however, it is considered the most beautiful place in the land of golden pagodas.

Contemplate the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables as well as explore the daily life of locals. Here you will be attracted by the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the others are standing on the boat for fishing by hand with their traditional tools. That is the particular trait of the Intha people.

Continue the trip to visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. There are many pagodas around the lake; however, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda is the most grandiose and monumental one. It is known as the symbol of five small golden Buddha images.

Day 7

Inle Lake – Fly to Yangon – City Tour (B)

Activities: Depart to Yangon, visit Sule Pagoda, Chaukhtayi Pagoda and Kandawgyi Lake, Shwedagon Pagoda, Scott Market, dinner in Karaweik Palace with Burmese food and enjoy an amazing cultural show.

Bustle up your new day with the trip to Yangon and colonize your Yangon experience with a visit to its highlights such as Sule Pagoda, an ancient pagoda of Shwedagon Pagoda, located in the center of the city; Chaukhtatgyi pagoda, which is famous for Reclining Buddha image and Kandawgyi Lake, a wonderful destination that you shouldn’t miss.
