Day 1

Yangon Arrival (D)

Meals: Dinner

Activities: Yangon arrival, visit Shwedagon Pagoda, Sule Pagoda, China Town, British Colonial buildings, and dinner in Karaweik Palace with Burmese food and enjoy a cultural show.

Arriving Yangon, welcome on arrival and transfer to hotel for check-in. The room is at your disposal from 14.00 onwards.

Start your trip with a visit to Shwedagon Pagoda. You will immerse in the shimmering landscape of Shwedagon pagoda which is a magnificent golden pagoda on the top of Singuttara Hill. It is said that this pagoda is dated back to 2500 years ago and stores the hair relics of the Buddha.

Now, it becomes one of the most spectacular religious architectures in the world as well as the pride of Myanmar. Continue the trip to explore Yangon city by walking from Sule Pagoda to China Town, narrow streets, and British Colonial buildings such as Emmanuel Church and Inland Water Buildings.

Day 2

Yangon - Heho – Inle Lake (B)

Activities: Fly to Heho, drive to Inle Lake, relax on the way to the resort by boat, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, Nam Pan village, and traditional crafts.

Enjoy a nice breakfast to start a wonderful day by the flight to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. Take a boat to cruise on Inle Lake to discover its natural beauty. Inle Lake is known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, however, it is considered the most beautiful place in the land of golden pagodas.

Contemplate the rich beauty of floating gardens full of various plants and vegetables as well as explore the daily life of locals. Here you will be attracted by the unique image of boatmen. They row by one leg while the others are standing on the boat to fix for fishing by hand with their traditional tools. That is the particular trait of the Intha people.

Day 4

Mandalay – Mingun – Mandalay Hill (B)

Activities: Visit monks in Mandalay, take a boat to Mingun to visit Pahtodawgyi Pagoda and Mingun Bell, visit Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, and watch the sunset on Mandalay hill.

Visiting Mandalay, which is famous for stupas, monks, and monasteries, you will have an insightful understanding of the life of monks. Then we will take a boat to visit Mingun, which is famous for its massive unfinished Pahtodawgyi pagoda, built at the end of the 18th century, and the Mingun bell, the largest bell in the world.

Activities: Visit Shwezigone Pagoda, Ananda, Sulamani Temple, Bagan Archaeological, Museum, and local lacquer ware workshop.

After a nice breakfast, we will explore Bagan, the mysterious land of over 2000 ancient temples that no visitor can ignore to discover the Burmese’s history and the development of Buddhism. We first visit Shwezigone Pagoda, the holiest pagoda in Bagan and known as a center of prayers commenced by King Anawrahta during the 11th century. Following is exploration at Ananda Temple as further travel into the Bagan plains and Sulamani temples.

In the afternoon, continue the trip to Bagan Archaeological Museum, visit a local lacquer ware workshop, and have an insightful understanding of the lacquer painting technique.

At the end of the day, relax by watching the breathtaking sunset beauty on the Ayeyarwaddy River while cruising.
