You will be picked up at your hotel by the tour guide and driver then discover the city starting with Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda.

In the morning, the tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to the Golden Rock at 8:30 am. It takes 5 hours to drive from Yangon to Kyaiktiyo through the Burmese countryside with green rice fields.
The most interesting day is to discover the Golden Rock Pagoda or Golden Rock in Kyaiktiyo Pagoda. Entering the base camp of Kin Pun, we catch the truck to the Golden Rock which is a familiar picture in a Myanmar travel guide. Now take a short trek to the viewpoint and admire the fascinating sunset.
Note: From Kinpun camp to the top, the trucks might be jam-packed and a little annoying. The locals often tag along and the truck will leave if it is full of people, you should be patient. Please be sure to arrive in Kinpun before 5:30 pm to surely get a truck traveling to the top.
Located in a precarious place, the Golden Rock with gold leaves around is an essential part of Buddhist pilgrimage and significant image of Myanmar culture and religion. Ask your tour guide to deepen your understanding about the origin of this place. You can experience the traditional activities of the pilgrimage season there if lucky.
