Welcome to Mandalay, one of Myanmar's most fascinating towns located along the Irrawaddy River. It is a must-visit location on your tour. The city of Mandalay is known as the cultural center of Myanmar and is home to a rich history of music, dance, and theater. It is not only a popular tourist attraction. We will arrive in Mandalay city approximately an hour from Mandalay airport. Overnight in Mandalay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll start our tour of Mandalay with a stop at the Mandalay Palace, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, where a huge Buddha was carved out of a block of marble. The Kuthodaw pagoda will be our next stop after that. Kuthodaw pagoda is renowned as the World's Biggest Book because of its collection of 729 marble slabs engraved with Buddhist teachings. To round up the morning, we go to Shwenandaw Monastery, popularly known as Golden Monastery, where the spectacular woodcarving structure will make you astonished.
In the afternoon, continue the journey to the Mahamuni Pagoda, which contains one of the most revered Buddha statues. If time permits, you may be able to pay a visit to a person who creates gold leaf, tapestries, wood sculptures, or marionettes.
Our next stop is Amarapura, where we will visit the Mahagandayon monastery, also known as the House of Thousand Young Monks, and a center for monastic study. We may then take the bus or walk to the iconic Ubein Bridge. Ubein Bridge, built in 1782, is regarded as one of the world's teakwood bridges. We also spend time here resting and watching the sunset. Return to Mandalay.

Transfer to Mandalay Bus Station in the morning to catch a bus to Bagan (about 6 hours). Upon arrival, explore Ananda temple, Bagan's famous white temple, then stop at several other locations to explore many more temples in the surrounding area. Dhammayangyi Temple and the majestic Sulamani will be the highlights of our tour.

Optional: Hot air balloon ride above Bagan (offered only from October/November to March). It is advised that you get up early to attend the hot-air balloon launch, which provides a wonderful experience of observing the Irrawaddy River and the stupas in the area from above.
Begin the day by seeing the beauty and ancientness of Shwezigon pagoda to discover more about Burmese Buddhist traditions.
Then we go to Myinkaba village and the Gubyaukgyi temple, where the murals and sculptures will make you astonished. We also go to two small temples, Manuha and Nanpaya.
Following that, you will get the opportunity to learn about the local works of manufacturing lacquer and wood crafts using traditional methods. From there, go to an at sunset through Bagan's tallest temple, Thatbyinnyu.
Transfer to Bagan Bus Station, where you will catch an overnight bus to Yangon.

Shwedagon Pagoda, known as the most renowned pagoda plated with 90 tons of gold, should not be missed during our tour of Yangon. After that, we will travel downtown and begin wandering through Scott Market, Yangon's most popular market.
Then, pay one more visit to the Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which is characterized by a lying big Buddha figure. We shall say our goodbyes to Yangon and transport you to the airport for your departure flight.
