"Arrived early in the morning and I was actually blown away by the setting. Absolutely gorgeous views of the surrounding temples. The swimming pool is spectacular and doubles as a reflecting pool. We were lucky that our villa was ready for us. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were extremely friendly and informative. The villa was quite spacious with a large living and bedroom area. The bathroom was exceptionally large with a separate shower and large spa tub. It was difficult at times to get a consistent temperature with the water. The commode was in a large separate room. A separate dressing area is also provided. The deck on the lake was a perfect place to sit at the end of the day to observe the spectacular sunsets. The gym equipment was a bit old, though mostly functional. The area is spacious; towels and water are provided. The breakfast buffet was extensive with plenty of Asian and western offerings. The mohinga was the best I had on this trip through Myanmar. I thought the staff were very helpful and efficient even with the large groups of people that went through there during breakfast. All the staff were quite friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem, no question was too much and they always had a smile. I would return to Bagan just in order to stay at one of the Aureum's villas again."

"The Aureum Palace was the perfect setting and location from which to explore beautiful Bagan. The hotel and its expansive grounds are beautiful, the individual cottage-rooms are great, and dinners at night out by the pool were a great relaxing finish to satisfying days spent exploring the area. "

"Stayed at the one of the Villa’s for 3 nights right in-front of the lake facing the temples where the sunrises. Great scenery, calmness, nature and was able to see hot balloons ascend into the sky’s across my Villa during sunrise. Fantastic hospitality from all member staff. A Yoga instructor and meditation session what’s missing in my opinion. An expensive resort that’s but worthy. A must visit Resort."

"Aside from the unbeatable view, Aureum showed great customer service. For my girlfriend's birthday, I requested for a tableside seat next to the pool for dinner and a cake, and they were able to do so and sing 'happy birthday'. Special shout out to the hospitality team and kitchen team for providing exceptional service. Would highly recommend! 10/10."

"The resort meets all you need for a luxury stay in Bagan including a brilliant view on ancient pagodas from the pool deck. It is unique during dinner, too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had no reason at all to complain."

"We had a rather large bungalow,with a large bed room and other rooms as well. It had teak floors and doors,rather old but well kept.Lovely actually there was also a rather large skylight dome in the bathroom too."

"We enjoyed excellent service of this hotel resort which is certainly unique in Myanmar, located in the middle of several thousand temples and pagodas in Bagan. The great villas and the special pool in front of the pagodas offer a lovely relax from the hundreds of fantastic impressions you get while discovering the Bagan area, be it by Adventure Myanmar's romantic historic horse carts or by the red balloons of Balloon Over Bagan. The food is excellent and the sites you enjoy them are very special, be it in front of the temples or at the water cascade. Mr Pwint Zarni Swe took good care of us."
