Scott (Front desk rep) was very nice and helpful he allways takes care if you have any problem (i needed to change my flight and he talked to the airline to arrange everything for me) He really does his best. My experience in Bagan was absolutely outstanding and Bagan people has allways an smile to share with you."

"This hotel is really nice and located close to restaurants and all. The housekeeping could be a bit better when cleaning and one of the night boys at reception could improve his sercive attitude a bit other than that I recommend the Hotel. Breakfast is great and so is the pool."

"I arrived at 8am in the morning and i got already my room, that's a very early check in. The same on departure, as i left again with a night bus i hat the chance to shower next to the pool. The room was big, clean with a hard bed, shower was very big too and the shampoo and shower gel had a very good smell. Wifi is strong, but i had to login very often again, i guess every time i left the hotel and when i came back. Staff was great. Prices for bikes and ebikes, tours and buses where the same as in other places. Breakfast was a buffet with a bit of everything and completely ok for me. The pool is s nice way to cool down from the heat of the afternoon. All in all great 3 days in Bagan."

"The hotel has nice and professional staff: they let me leave my bag at the reception upon early arrival, when the hotel itself ran out of e-bike they shown me the nearest shop to rent one (it was a little cheaper), called the bus agency to arrange pick-up service. Waiters at the restaurant kept asking guests if everything was ok (with a smile on their face). I stayed at the dorm room for 1 night. Would come again."

"Let me start that I compelty don't understand the negative comments as this hotel is great! I think there might a quality difference between dormitory and 'single' rooms so let me just state we stayed in double bedroom with private bathroom. pros: + huge modern & quiet room with very nice bathroom and aircon of course + good service, everyone is helpful and welcoming, little things like welcoming drinks and refill of the free water in the room, counts + good wifi + v good breakfasts with both wester and eastern choices + nice pool cons: - no English channels on the telly if I have to pick on something.. All in all, seriously a very nice place. Of course run a e-bike and do laundry outside. 5min walk to the right of hotel is a small shop/bike renral/laundry place (1000 kyat per kg, bike for 4000) negotiate of course ;) 5min on bike to the left (outside touristy part) you have a bank (monry exchange) and some restaurants where locals eat (whole dinner for 3000 for 2 people, in the touristy street restaurant -Black Bamboo we paid 17000 for 2, although of course it was nicer restaurant and food too)."

"I stayed at the Royal Bagan Hotel for two nights - in the 3 bed dormitory. I was impressed with photographs that depicted a very clean room and reviews praising the location. As it happened my stay lived upto that expectation. The hotel is located at an excellent part of Nyaung U - perhaps the best place to stay when visiting Bagan. It's on the main Bagan road and (relatively) close to the airport, station as well as jetty for Mandalay boats. The staff were friendly and responsible and more than once I saw them helping out guests with all kinds of logistical problems. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and the layout is bright, cheerful and uplifting. The single restroom for the dorm was large, well tiled though the water pressure left a bit to be desired. Wifi is good. Breakfast is excellent and provision for a takeaway breakfast box in the morning is a great facility. Overall excellent value for money and strongly recommended."

"It's a new three star property offering great rates. I stayed in the dormitory where I had the room to myself for the entire day and night. The staff is really cool. Nice small pool to relax in. Good wifi at the reception but not in the room, which is the only down side of this place. The breakfast has to be the best I have had anywhere in all of Myanmar. It is buffet, limitless. Very tasty. Eggs to your order. Fruits, cereals, continental and local food."

"I traveled solo and stayed in their dorm for 2 nights. Was quite surprise to receive such good values for the price. The hotel was lovely with the pool, green and traditional decoration. Our dorm room was large and clean, so is the bathroom. Overall, the stay was pleasant. Staffs are friendly and helpful even English is a bit limited (I'm relax about that because we're not native speakers). I will choose them again if coming back."

"My wife and I stayed in the hotel for three nights total. We got off the bus at 430am and made our way straight to the hotel, they let us book a room but would not let us in the room even though it was empty, Fair play though, totally understand. They were kind enough to let us in at about 1030am and it was much appreciated, and although I accidently booked the wrong dates (early morning booking through Expedia on my phone; totally my mistake) they helped me and sorted it out and we we're all good. Beds were hard, pool was cold, breakfast was great for the price! Bathrooms we're nice and room was large, (superior I think?) Would stay here again. Paid $50Aud a night or so."
