"We stayed for one night after a long trip to Halong Bay. When we arrived, we were seated in the lounge area and greeted with a delicious fruit cocktail that immediately took the stress off from our long bus journey. It was one of the prettiest hotels I have ever been to. The interior was modern and stylish. The beds were super comfortable and gave us a good night’s rest. More importantly, it was very clean. Our room was on one of the higher floors and had a balcony with a seating area from which you could view the city. In contrast to the hotel in which we stayed three nights before visiting Halong Bay from Hanoi, the rooms were very quiet, you couldn’t hear the cleaning ladies or people from neighboring rooms. The hotel has a rooftop bar with a stunning view over Hanoi. Cocktails might be a bit pricey - we had two margaritas - but worth every penny, since the atmospheric scene was really great. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us book our transportation to the airport for ~14€, which I recommend, if you don’t have grab and don’t want to get ripped off by some shady taxi driver. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and regret that we did not stay here the first three nights in Hanoi."

"We stayed here as a family with young kids and it was great. Rather than staying in one of the bigger hotels further out, we had the full experience of the Old Town, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating with our kids too - the best of both worlds really. The restaurant was good too, although we also ventured out for food and there are plenty of great places within 5 minutes walk. We stayed in their Club Duplex Premier which is set over two floors and works great for a family with kids."

"Wonderful location for exploring Hanoi and the Old Quarter. Staff could not have been more helpful, attentive and friendly and we loved the food both at breakfast and in the evening. Checking-in and out was easy and we were give a lovely welcome. The size was perfect and our room, although it overlooked an alley, was quiet. An absolute plus in this lively and noisy city."

"We were at La Siesta for a number of nights and immensely enjoyed our time. Comfortable and clean rooms, with fresh fruit provided daily. Breakfast was amazing; the best I've had in all my years of travelling - variety, fresh and tasty! Lastly, all the staff members were friendly, polite and ever so helpful. Highly recommend La Siesta."

"We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights as part of a longer holiday in Vietnam. The hotel is in a central location within easy walking distance of many sights, with restaurants, coffee houses and bars on the doorstep. The rooms were excellent and the hotel was a welcome sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The Sky Bar was breathtaking. Above all the staff were first class, they were incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. We would definitely recommend and if we return to Hanoi it would be our first choice hotel."

"We were amazed by the excellent customer service provided by one employee at the desk named Houng. She went out of her way to be helpful. After we arrived, we asked about getting a massage, so she booked last-minute massages for us only a block away and walked us there to make sure we arrived on time. She also went out of her way to walk us to our cruise office the next morning to make sure we didn't have any trouble along the way. An extremely helpful and exceptional employee! While there, don't miss the Sky Bar. We enjoyed delicious late-night food and drinks there. The ambience and views are great."

"Mr Duong Thanh Thuc, Sales manager of Elegance Hospitality Group (EHG) offered us a full package for our 2 week stay in Vietnam. We used Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa as a base from where we first went on a 2 night Halong Bay cruise on board of the Azalea, then on a 1 night stay over in Sapa, then to the La Siesta resort in Hoi An - intermittently spending 5 nights in total at this specific hotel. We couldn’t have asked nor hoped for anything better! We were treated like royalty right from the start by each and every staff member. Food was excellent, the rooms were spotless and great care was taken to surprise us each time with a different room type. EHG and the La Siesta hotel group is absolutely tops and is highly recommended. Tien (Scarlett) bent over backwards to ensure that we were happy all the time and also gave great recommendations. Love, love, love everything about this hotel - the location is such that you are part of all the action with shops, restaurants and the lake all within walking distance."

"What a wonderful hotel! It is directly on Ma May St. in Old Quarter, so is very convenient, but as soon as you walk in the front door, it feels warm and intimate, and is beautiful. All of the employees that my husband and I met were kind, helpful, and genuine. Our room was attractive and comfortable. The bed was decorated for our anniversary, which was a lovely gesture. The dining room is wonderful - very inviting with excellent food and service. There some very good, authentic Vietnamese restaurants on Ma May street and lots of good shopping nearby. Highly recommend!"
