"Wonderful staff, friendly and professional. Room was excellent with everything needed being provided. Great stay in an ideally located area in the heart of Hanoi. Would definately redcommend if luxury is a key factor. There is also an opportunity to go down to experience the "war bunker" that is beneath the hotel. Incredible experience. Breakfast was THE BEST we have ever had in any hotel so far."

"What a lovely hotel. So big. We were on the first floor with a lovely room overlooking the main street. No noise was heard though. Meals were also very good. Being a diabetic, the chef made me my own sauces and sweets. Breakfast buffet was amazing, everything on offer. Staff excellent and attentive. Enjoyed our two nights here very much. Only pity was shower over bath, was hard for my husband (with hip problems) and myself to get out of."

"We were part of a tour group and arrived during the CoVid19 outbreak. Nothing in the hotel's management made us feel anything than secure - so well handled. Breakfast each morning was a delight; cocktails in Angelina were so good and well made, especially the Charlie Chaplin. The staff was so accommodating. Highly recommended!"

"We had a wonderful one-night stay at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was in the older part of the hotel, and it was extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. The staff were very kind, spoke excellent English, and were able to help us arrange a tour the next morning. We highly recommend the guide named Loi."

"The Sofitel in Hanoi is a beautiful old hotel. Although the hotel and Hanoi were quiet due to the CoronaVirus shut downs, it is still a beautiful city to explore. And the staff at the Sofitel were wonderful, the old rooms are stunning and the restaurants food and service were impecible. Will definitely stay again."
