"Couldn't fault this hotel during our stay in Vietnam. Split stay due to cruising on halong bay but hotel stored our luggage for us. Large spacious rooms and staff who cannot do enough for you- very polite and friendly. Lovely rooftop area with swimming pool & gym. Good selection for buffet breakfast. Ideally situated in centre of old quarter of bustling Hanoi"

"We were booked in this hotel for 4 nights. We didn't like the room we were in primarily because it didn't have a window. The Reception staff were extremely helpful and managed to change our room for us. All staff were very professional and helpful, but in particular the Reception staff whose standards of English was excellent. It is a very central hotel in the old quarter with everything on its doorstep. After staying in several hotels throughout our holiday, this was by far the best."

"This hotel is in a perfect location for the old town being just a short street away from the night market and a few paces away from beer street. The room was large and comfortable, the breakfast great and the front of house staff not only spoke impeccable English but went the extra mile to make our stay so marvellous I have written this, my first ever, review."

"We had a lovely stay to finish our holiday at this hotel, they gave us an upgraded room, couldn't get the jacuzzi bath to work but other than that a nice large clean room. Could do with providing milk for the coffee. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast was great a large choice of food to choose from, again staff here were very attentive. Nice views from by the pool, Happy Hour for Cocktails here which were very good, happy staff to take your orders and bring out drinks or food. Hotel is in a good area so lots of shopping ,Restaurants and bars close by to choose from. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had 4 nights here altogether. After the first night, we went on a Halong Bay cruise. Our first room was very disappointing compared to the other hotels we stayed at. It was dark and dingy and the bathroom seriously needed upgrading. However, on our return, our rep had asked the hotel to change this and we were given an excellent light room which made our stay very pleasant indeed. We had a large en suite bathroom, fridge and a safe. The beds were very comfortable and we had tea and coffee making facilities. There is a convenience store opposite where we bought water and milk. Breakfast was very good, catering to Western and Asian tastes. They did a yummy creme caramel for breakfast! We ate supper there on the first night. It was tasty and reasonably priced. There are masses of good restaurants and shops all within walking distance of the hotel which is brilliantly situated. The staff were lovely and we would recommend this hotel which was one of our favourites. As we had a very late flight home we were able to have a late check out until 6 pm for an extra fee which we appreciated very much. I would suggest asking for an outside room rather than an inside one. There is a rooftop pool where we relaxed on our last morning ."
