"I am a frequent business traveler for 20 years now. Stayed in many 5-star hotels worldwide and I am supposed to be a very demanding guest. I stayed 5 nights in Pan Pacific in Feb. 2020 for a business meeting. PAN PACIFIC looks new with a modern style. The Hotel is 10 minutes walk from downtown (Chinatown, 19th street, street bars, ...) with a next door Junction Mall for grocery shopping (3rd floor) or for cheap meals and drinks at the food court (5th floor). Easy to catch a cab in front of the Hotel or the Mall to drive you anywhere in the city. The room was spacious, quiet, and very clean with very comfortable bed. Great sleeping every night before to join my morning meeting. It is a pleasure to wakeup and join the restaurant to enjoy a great city scenery with fresh croissants and fresh fruits. The breakfast buffet is delicious with tens of western and asian meals. I really recommend the freshly squeezed fruit juices. From the checkin to the checkout, everything was perfect and of a very high standard. It has been flawless and amazing. Warmly greeted upon arrival, service beyond compare, hospitality and kindness unmatched, beautiful smiles and greetings and taken care off as if I was the only guest... BUT the best thing about PAN PACIFIC is its staff - they are very nice, attentive and professional. Special thanks to Mr. SHAFIN for his great concierge service and his useful city recommendations. It was a pleasure to discuss with you after my meetings to learn about Yangon nightlife. Thank you to Mrs EI EITHET for her morning smiles and great room service. My room was always mint after your visit. Thank you to Mrs KAUNG MYINT MYATI for her gentle restaurant service. And a big thanks to the pool and fitness gym staff. Amazing facilities to enjoy as much as possible. I was visiting PAN PACIFIC for the first time with little expectation, and I was finally really impressed by the Hotel setup, the management and the service staff . My experience at PAN PACIFIC urged me to write a review. PAN PACIFIC is unbeatable for business travelers or families. The best hotel in Yangon. Excellent in both service and location. I will recommend family and friends to stay in this hotel. Thanks again to the lovely and professional staff. You deserve a 6-star."

"This hotel goes out of its way to please. Somehow they immediately noticed we had a birthday to celebrate and whisked up a delicious cake that was presented by smiling, singing staff. The weekend continued in a similar vein. The rooms are lovely, with large sumptuous beds, beautifully equipped high tech bathrooms and best of all for me a great coffee machine that even had decaffeinated coffee. The breakfast buffet is extensive and has options for all cultures. Although we didn't get to use it, the infinity swimming pool is set in a beautiful garden and looked extremely inviting. There is a good range of spa options, though rather expensive for us. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all the staff, having to mention Shafin who went out of his way to charm us, for a superb birthday celebration."

"We just completed a week long stay at the Pan Pacific and I wanted to briefly share our wonderful experience. Upon checking-in we were greeted and given an overview by the receptionist Sandi. She was the perfect mix of professionalism with warmth of a family member. She answered all our questions and provided helpful travel tips. The hotel was such a pleasure to stay at with the luxurious rooms to the gourmet breakfast each morning. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your experience the most enjoyable one ever. We had the pleasure of meeting the general manager Choeng Hai Poh on our last day of our visit. It was the perfect ending to our holiday. Room: 1912 Stay period: March 6-12, 2020"

"WIth the old market and a modern shopping mall next door, AND walking distance to the Shwedagon Pagoda, this is an ideal base. Rooms are large and comfortable, but ours (on the 19th floor) needs a little touch up with the decor, although the carpet and sofa seemed new. Breakfast was amazing - with a huge range of foods and freshly squeezed juices. My only criticism was the slow service to clear tables and a lack of staff to offer to bring coffee etc. The Club lounge offered high tea (3pm to 5pm) and a delicious assortment of snacks during happy hour (6 till 8). There’s a nice infinity pool with a good view of the pagoda (currently covered with a bamboo scaffolding) and the church. Word of warning - I wouldn’t advise you coming here during the Water Festival (unless you’re here for just half a day to specifically take part). All the shops close for around 4 days and it’s virtually impossible to get around without getting absolutely soaked. Pickups full of young guys roam the streets armed with water guns, and people literally throw water at you from every angle - great fun."

"Downtown Yangon is not an easy destination for most North American. So one needs calm and confort to cope with Myanmar most bustling city. This is what the pan pacific offered to my family of five when we visited in March 2020. Spacious rooms. Night shades. Super comfy beds. Excellent buffet breakfast and half price for kids at the dinner buffet. Great food Variety there too. But what stands out of the experience is the Burmese hospitality. The pan pacific staff is always willing to help. And do a little extra for you. Nora in particular was such a sweetheart. On top of all the pertinent dining recommendations, she even negotiated with a laundry service to get us a better price. (We had tons of dirty clothes) She took care of our family like she was part of it. She even arranged to have a birthday cake delivered to our room when she heard it was my daughter’s bday a few days earlier. We’ll miss you Nora ! During your stay you will also come across the hotel general manager, H.P. (as he introduced himself to us) as he always wanders around the hotel to greet his guests with a smile. I believe Great managers go where the action is. Mr. H.P. sure leads by example."
