"We had a really enjoyable 3 night stay at the Sule, Shangri-La. Located in the downtown area, it is close to a number of major sites. Our visit was to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary and the hotel kindly presented my wife with flowers and a cake. The Horizon Club Lounge on the 21st floor was a great location to start the day with breakfast and enjoy drinks and canapés in the evening. All the staff were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend the Horizon Club rooms."

"Besides a very good hotel, conveniently placed and of high quality I would particularly emphasize the service I received from mr. Rowan and mr. Melvin when I got myself in a bit of trouble with a local taxi driver Yangon. For me that was the icing on the cake of an already excellent hotel experience. Much appreciated."

"Lovely hotel with great staff. Prices have come down since a few years ago since new hotels have been built. Excellent central location near the Sule Pagoda and the main market. Rooms were well appointed and the lobby was a great place to sit and have afternoon tea."

"I stayed at this hotel for a business trip. The check-in was hassle free and hotel staff spoke good English and friendly. My room was clean with bottled water provided daily. I met one of the cleaning staff cleaning my room, Goal Lay, and he was helpful and ensure I had everything I need. I had access to the Horizon Club lounge and it's a nice place to have a cup of coffee or to do some work. I like having breakfast at the lounge as it's less crowded than the breakfast area on Level 1. It's a great and comfortable stay! "

"First of, a great location right in the middle of Yangon. Great security and safety services at front door, pre-caution taken as necessary. Fantastic team of receptionists and check-in crew, obviously well-trained. Room is spacious and cozy. Nice and clean. My only suggestion is to keep hair dryer in a bathroom; not hidden in a work desk (which I only found out about the next morning from a friend!) Wonderful breakfast of international varieties. Efficient and friendly staff. Will most likely return in the future."

"I stayed 15 days in Sule Shangrila and it was amazing experienced. I checked-in in lounge and it was very hassle free. Thank you Thet for your warm welcome and friendly smile when I always see you. Our room was tidy and clean every time , thank you to Nway and Meme. Food and drinks in executive lounge was so good. Thanks to Chef Phyo. He is also very friendly. He always approached us and ask how our experienced in Yangon. He made a lot of recommendations for us to enjoy Yangon. Overall this great people made my stay a home cause i see their smiles every day. Kudos to you guys."

"We selected to stay at Sule Shangri la hotel as the first honeymoon trip in myanmar after get married in July, Upon arrival, front desk staff handed the bouquet of red rose and we was surprised by the nice set up in room with swan towel, rose petal spread over on the bed, cheese cake and welcoming card. The room is spacious, well decoration. We would like to thank Concierge team who look after us and organize the trip from airport pick up to sightseeing in Bagan city, please pass my sincerely appreciated to Mr. Moo tow Chief Concierge and the whole team Mr Ko ko lin, Mr. Jason. We will absolutely come back to stay here for the next trip."

"I loved my stay at the hotel, the service at Shangri-La in any location is great, but this time they really went above and beyond. It was my birthday while I was staying here, and when my wife and I returned to the room after sightseeing they had left a birthday cake in the room for me. We didn’t tell them it was my birthday, so they must have just seen it on my passport and decided to go above and beyond. In addition, my wife is a neat freak (I mean that in a loving way honest!) and I think this is the first hotel we have ever stayed in anywhere in the world from London to Tokyo where she hasn’t complained that there is a spot on a glass, or some dust etc."
